18 Feb, 2020 KDIS News Center 2,326

Following last year’s “Precycling KDIS”, KDI School decided to extend action on environmental protection for the entire year of 2020.  “Live Green” is not just a campaign, it’s a way of life.  As future leaders and members of KDI School, KDI School decided to take action for environmental protection. Therefore, KDI School set three different but connected missions.

Every day, people use a lot of disposable cups which leads to an incalculable amount of rubbish. KDI School and Cafe VOBISCUM launched a coupon event to encourage the use of reusable containers when purchasing beverages at Cafe VOBISCUM.
– Step 1: Bring your own reusable cup when ordering drinks.
– Step 2: Get one stamp for each drink order.
– Step 3: Collect ten stamps and get one free drink.

KDI School set five different action plans for certain period to help people concentrate in each subject.
– Zero-waste(March~April): Practice reducing waste.
– Recycling(May~June): Make recycling a way of life.
– Paperless(July-August): Use as little paper as possible.
– Plogging(September~October): Pick up litter when walking and running.
Plastic-free(November~December): Prevent the use of plastic products.

Last mission is sharing the action on Live Green campaign through SNS. It’s not just that KDI School members are participating in the campaign but that they are trying to inspire people around them.
